This an elegantly formed Meiji Period pair of flared mouth Japanese cloisonne vases with chrysanthemum designs over a deep teal ground. The overall condition is good and they measure 7.25" x 3.25". There is a 1/3" long nick in the enamel which can be seen in the images, as well original pitting. The mark on the underside appears to be that of Tamura.

This is a highly unusual example of cloisonne with applied silver overlay. The silver is decorated with subtle chase work, adding an elegant touch to this interesting piece. There are multiple lines on the body of the vase as can be seen in the images, but we took the rarity of the piece into consideration when we purchased it. It measures 6" x 1.1", is artist signed on the underside and dates about 1900 - 1920.

The reddish brown ground on this vase indicates that it is likely the work of Hatori. The work is simple, yet elegant and quite appealing. The condition is good, less one underglaze line which is likely original. It measures 4" x 3 3/4" and dates about 1900 - 1915.

This pretty plaque measures 14" x 10" including the frame and the frame border is 1.5". We have not unscrewed the wooden mounts in the back to see if it is signed. There are some surface scratches and original pitting, but there does not appear to be any chips in the enamel. This item dates about 1920.
