This is a fine executed Chinese ivory carving depicting Quan Yin, the goddess of compassion. The mark on the underside reads GaoZong QianLong, Emperor Qiang Long, however it likely dates to the early Republic Period or about 1920. The condition is excellent, with only some expected age lines, but no cracks or losses. It measures 10.25" x 4".
These vases are a beautiful example of Fukagawa porcelain, decorated with a floral motif overlaying a bamboo grove. The tapered form is aesthetically pleasing. Each vase measures 12.5" x 11" and have the blue Koransha mark on the underside, dating them about 1890. The condition is excellent, with only some wear to the gilt on the rings near the shoulders of the vases.
This is a nicely carved ivory okimono from the Taisho Period, dating about 1920 - 1930. The condition is excellent, with only one age line on the underside of a wrestler. It is artist signed and measures 3.75" x 3".
This vase is decorated with a classic Kinkozan motif of samurai, geishas and children in heavily encrusted gold and enamel. It measures 7" x 4.75" and is in excellent condition. It dates about 1900.
This is a nicely detailed Chinese ivory carving of a general standing on a lotus form pedestal. The condition is excellent, with some expected age lines on the reverse side, but no losses or deep cracks. It measures 16" x 5" and dates about 1900 - 1920.
The motif on this vase is classic Inaba on a black ground. It is impressed with an Inaba hallmark on the underside rim and is in excellent condition. It measures 10" x 5.5" and dates about 1910- 1920.
This pair is finely decorated with butterflies over a Ming yellow ground. Both have the Ando studio mark on the underside and date back to the early 20th century. The condition is excellent and they measure 8.75" x 4".
The soft charcoal gray color of the koi contrast nicely with the blue and white background of this Arita porcelain charger. It is Meiji Period, dating about 1880 and it is in excellent condition. The diameter is 16.5".
This is a well carved, artist signed ivory okimono depicting a musician playing his shamisen. There is a noh theater mask resting on his head, along with dolls of a Daruma and a tenuke near his knee. The condition is excellent with no losses and it dates back to the Taisho Period or about 1920.
This is a nicely decorated nearly globular form, Japanese cloisonne vase with a dove and foliate motif in a goldstone ground. The condition is excellent with no signs of damage or restoration. It dates about 1900 - 1910 and measures 4.75" x 3.75".
