Exquisite Pair of Satsuma Vases by Kinkozan
This magnificent and large pair of Meiji period long neck Kinkozan vases are beautifully decorated from top to bottom. The body of the vase has finely detailed figures going 360 degrees around and at the top of the neck of each vase is a wonderfully detailed Shina-Tsu-Hiko or God of Wind. Each vase is impressed with a Kinkozan signature, has an applied gold signature and has the original Kinkozan paper label. They are in excellent condition with no damages or restorations and measure 17.75" x 6". It is quite unusual to see Satsuma items of this quality in vases of this size.
