Floral Satsuma chawan by Hankinzan
Decorated with a floral and butterfly motif, this bowl shows artistic restraint used more commonly for the Asian market. The form is a ceremonial tea bowl or chawan and is used in the Japanese tea ceremony. It measures 3.25" x 5.5" and dates about 1890. Condition is excellent.
