This vase a very elegant meiping form is decorated subtly with a blue and white bamboo design. It is in excellent condition and it measures 11.5" x 5.5". It dates about 1900 - 1915 and has the seal of Makuzu Kozan on the underside.

This a very pretty and difficult to find example of an art nouveau inspired covered jar. It is signed both one the underside of the cover and on the base. The dimensions are 7" x 6" and the condition is excellent. Late Meiji or early Taisho Period. 1910 - 1920.

This is a great example of work from Seifu studio with chrysanthemums around the lower portion. Above are dragonflies and a butterfly over a yellow ground. It has the impressed mark of Seifu Yohei on the underside and dates circa early 20th century. 12" x 6".

This is hoho bird or phoenix bird form teapot with celedon color on the upper portion a beautiful dark teal mottled glaze on the bottom third. There is a silver chain cover holder mounted onto the piece. It measures 6.5"H x 8"W and dates about 1900 - 1910. Excellent condition.

This is one of the largest versions of Kinkozan's mottled glaze style that we have seen and the only one that combines it with a tree bark colored neck.The body is decorated with assorted floral designs in gilt. The central theme of this charger is a celebration of Boys Day. There are a plethora of children engaged in many different games and activities.
